Happy Thanksgiving Day!!!

I am thankful for my many blessings...

my family

my friends

my home

my job

my health

our soldiers

(i could go on...).

Here's the only Thanksgiving Day card I had time to make and I hope the recipient doesn't see it here before it arrives to her doorstep (but that is a possibility!)

This follows a sketch challenge posted by my sister at Club Scrap. I used a silhouette cut I made from the Outlines posies set and inked 3 in different colors (aged mahagoney, mustard seed and orange marmalade), cut them apart and mixed and matched the pieces to form the turkeys feathers. The body of the turkey is a very old punch from my stash of a christmas tree. I found the turkey face/neck online and printed it out then colored it with markers. All Club Scrap papers, but all from my scrap drawer, so I couldn't tell you what kits.

Happy Turkey Day to all....Be sure to let someone know how thankful you are for them today.

Formatting keeps getting all flubbed up on this post. Not sure why. must be turkey gremlins :)
